What the parts shop keeps
- Your account, if you create one: email address, a password (stored only as a secure hash), and the name, phone, company and delivery address you choose to save. With “Continue with Google”, Google tells us your name and email address.
- Your orders: the parts, your contact details, any PO or reference, and what we arrange with you for pickup or delivery.
- Payments: your card is entered in Square’s own payment form and processed by Square. We never see or store your card number — only the card type and last four digits, for your receipt.
We use this only to run your account and your orders — to take payment, arrange pickup or delivery, answer questions and handle returns — and we keep order records as the law requires for accounting and tax. We don’t sell your information or use it for advertising.
Who else handles it
- Square processes card payments.
- Our email provider delivers order confirmations, updates and password-reset emails.
- Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google.
Cookies and your browser
The shop uses only the cookies it needs to work: one that keeps your cart and your sign-in, and one that protects forms against forgery. For the tab you shop in, your browser also remembers that you have a cart and where you are in checkout. The site runs no analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts.
Your choices
You can shop without an account. You can see and change your saved details in your account, and ask us to delete your account at any time; we then keep only the order records the law requires.
Hosting and server logs
Our servers record ordinary technical request information such as IP addresses, timestamps, and the pages requested, for delivery and security purposes.
Changes
If what the site does with your information changes, this page is updated to say so before the change goes live.
