Scheduled Maintenance
Planned work is cheaper than unplanned work, and the difference is mostly a phone call made early. Scheduled maintenance at JH means agreeing with our staff what the equipment needs and when it can come in, rather than discovering both on the side of a road.

Arranging planned work
Tell our staff what the equipment is, what you want done, and the windows when the unit can be released. They will work out with you when it can come in and roughly what to expect while it is here.
If you are not certain what the visit should cover, describe how the equipment is used and what it has needed recently. That is usually enough for a useful conversation about what to include.
Fitting it around your operation
Downtime you choose costs less than downtime that chooses you. When you call, say which days or shifts are realistic and whether the unit can be left overnight — both change what is possible.
Fleets with several units often stagger visits so no two are off the road at once. If that matters to you, raise it early and our staff can plan around it.
- Say which release windows genuinely work.
- Mention whether the unit can be dropped off and collected later.
- For several units, ask about staggering visits.
What this page does not decide
This site does not set service intervals for your equipment and does not confirm bookings. Intervals depend on the equipment, its duty cycle, and the manufacturer’s guidance; dates and work are confirmed by JH staff when you speak with them.
Common questions
Can I book a maintenance slot on this website?
No. This site has no booking system. Call or email JH and our staff will arrange a time with you and confirm it directly.
How often should my equipment be serviced?
That depends on the equipment, how hard it works, and the manufacturer’s guidance. Describe your operation to our staff and ask them — this site deliberately publishes no intervals.
Can several units be handled without taking the whole fleet off the road?
Ask about staggering visits when you call. Tell our staff how many units are involved and what has to stay running.
What if something else is found during a planned visit?
You are told what was found before extra work is done, and you decide whether it goes ahead now or later.
